Handcrafted in Chulucanas, Peru, this impressive signed ceramic vase is dated 2002 and attributed to artisan Segundo Carmen. Chulucanas pottery traces its roots to the ancient Vicús culture and is celebrated for its hand-burnished surfaces and distinctive earth-tone designs created using traditional smoke-firing techniques. The sculptural twin-handled form and warm brown, cream, and black palette complement Organic Modern, Southwestern, Hacienda, Mediterranean, Bohemian, and Wabi-Sabi interiors.
