One plate bears the titled inscription "Bacchus und die Musen von Angelica Kauffmann", referencing the renowned Neoclassical artist whose compositions were frequently reproduced by Royal Vienna during the late 19th century.
Each plate features an exquisitely executed central scene surrounded by richly decorated borders embellished with extensive raised gilt ornamentation, jewel-tone enamels, and alternating classical motifs including swans, mythological creatures, floral designs, and stylized decorative reserves.
