Joan Miró (Spanish, 1893 - 1983) pretty lithograph on paper after Miró Musée National d'Art Moderne´ exhibit and catalogue, Paris June-November 1962 signed in the plate and framed under glass.
Miró was born in Barcelona in 1893. He moved to Paris in the early 1920s and joined the Surrealist movement led by André Breton. He also befriended many writers and literary sources became an important inspiration for him. ‘Miró’ primarily used printing techniques intaglio, lithograph and carborundum and produced more than 2,000 prints during his career.
Dimensions: 14-1/2" high x 11" wide with frame.
Condition: Good vintage condition.
