This was made by taking a sewing pin and pricking a sheet of paper to create a design, it must have taken a long time to make and depicts a bouquet of flowers. There is a paper label on the back "This was made by Berte Charles, half brother of Mary and Amelia Charles". This type of Pennsylvania German pinprick work is a lost art and quite scarce. I acquired this fine piece from Pennsylvania. See less
