We are delighted to offer this exquisite pair of extra large Burr Satinwood framed copper plate prints dating to circa … Read more We are delighted to offer this exquisite pair of extra large Burr Satinwood framed copper plate prints dating to circa 1660 by the genius that was Pierre Mignard (1612-1695) These are very large and highly decorative prints, the colour and finish is really first draw, they are each escribed as follows 1:- Alter Post Fvlmina 2:- Divae Spes Altera One of the pictures has dropped slightly so the inscription is below the boarder, if you reseat it the inscription will be seen again Dimensions Height:- 84.5cm Width:- 104.5cm Depth:- 1.6cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point Condition Please view the very detailed pictures as they form part of the description around condition Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of cracking creasing and wear, we recommend regular waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
