A charming piece of Adirondack rustic furniture, hand-built from bent and twisted twigs into a striking heart motif base — likely made in New York State or New England, circa 1910-1930. The twisted branch construction is wrapped and accented with painted silver and gold banding, a hallmark of early 20th-century camp and lodge furniture, where makers turned raw branches into decorative, sculptural forms.

The square top retains its original red-painted cloth surface, bordered in dark wood with a hand-painted white scroll-wave motif along the edge — a lovely period detail that pairs beautifully with the twig base below.
