Depicting an Aztec-inspired figure wearing an elaborate jaguar headdress, the sculpture features sterling silver wirework, dangling earrings, and vivid blue and red stone accents that enhance its dramatic appearance. Expertly carved and highly polished, the piece combines traditional pre-Columbian imagery with the renowned silversmithing of Taxco, Mexico. Mounted on an integral polished stone base, it is an exceptional decorative object for collectors of Mexican folk art, Taxco silver, lapidary sculpture, or Mesoamerican-inspired design. See less
