An expertly refinished pair of solid walnut two tier side / end tables with beveled edges by Ace Hi, made in Southern California in the 1960s.
The lower surface rests atop a set of stiletto-tapered legs, with a pair of softly sculpted columns supporting the upper tier. The two-tier design provides ample surface area for storage and display in a compact form factor.
This pair is in like-new condition, with traces of prior use visible only on very close inspection.
The tables do not have a maker’s mark. The design is attributed to Ace Hi by industry consensus. The build, materials, and design are consistent with other pieces produced by Ace Hi during the mid 20th century.
