Offering a vintage hand carved Italian Alabaster watermelon fruit circa 1950s, Signed. This colorful hand carved watermelon has beautiful shades of red, pink, green with black spots representing the watermelon seeds. Signed Robinsons' on bottom.

J. W. ROBINSONS' HISTORY:
In 1952, Robinson's opened its famous Mid-Century Modern branch in Beverly Hills (designed by William Pereira and Charles Luckman). It expanded into resort towns like Palm Springs and affluent communities in Pasadena and San Fernando Valley. Robinson's opened a landmark 7-story Downtown Los Angeles flagship on 7th Street, anchoring what became LA’s premier high-end shopping district alongside luxury boutiques and fine dining.
