A beautifully crafted Art Deco style center table designed by Barbara Barry and made by Baker Furniture in the US. The table features a two-tiered design in a deep ebonized lacquer obsidian black veneered walnut finish. The circular top sits above a continuous frieze apron accented with vertical reeded lines, concealed a single drawer with a natural interior finish. The table is raised on four gracefully tapering and saber-form legs joined by a lower circular tier. Crafted with versatile proportions, the table is functional as a center table, side table, occasional table, or entry table. The table is stable and sturdy with solid joinery and construction. The table is crafted in a sophisticated blend of Modern and Art Deco influences. The table retains original maker's plaques from Barbara Barry and Baker. The table measures 27.5" from the floor to apron and the top is 30.5 inches high.
