Each … Read more A finely crafted pair of 20th century English drinks tables, side, or occasional tables crafted in a Regency style. Each table features a two-tiered silhouette with inset leather tops. Each rectangular top surface has rounded corners and is fitted with a rich cognac leather surface embossed with a delicate gilt scrolling border along each side. The top sits above a hand-carved apron with a decorative frieze of acanthus leaves and a circular brass medallion at each corner. The tables are supported by ring-turned faux-bamboo legs that taper and splay out gently, joined by a lower shelf for additional space. The leather tops have a desirable an authentic aged patina with a craquelure finish and small losses. Crafted in an elegant English Regency style, the pair is well-suited for a variety of interiors as side tables, drink tables, occasional tables, bedside tables, or flanking accents. Sold as a pair.
