Hettier & Vincent - Baccarat
A wonderful pair of 1925-1930 French art deco wall sconces in nickel plated bronze and frosted crystal. This model is never signed. The crystal shades were exclusively produced for Hettier & Vincent by les cristalleries de Baccarat. The wall lights as well as the shades are represented in the old Hettier et Vincent catalog. See last 3 pictures. The catalog is no part of the sale.
The sconces are about 21,5 cm (8.46") high and project some 9,06 inches from the wall. The Baccarat "les Roses" shades have a diameter of 4,53 inches. The pair is in very good condition. I have re-nickeled and patinated the bronze fixtures. They are rewired with American candelabra base sockets.
