Degué - Barbier & Corneloup
A wonderful French art deco lamp in wrought iron. The lamp was made between 1928 and 1936. The forged base holds a nice coloured shade in mottled glass produced by Degué. It has the usual Degué signature in acid. It is a lamp made by the Paris based company Barbier & Corneloup. This model base is represented in their 1928 catalogue. The lamp is in very good condition. No chips or cracks. The iron has a deep-brown patina and a nice egg gloss appearance. The lamp is 34,3 cm high (13,5 inches).
It is rewired with new cloth covered twisted cord. I placed an American candelabra base socket and US 2-prong plug.
Shipping to the USA: I send my parcels with Dutch post PostNL - incoterm DDP (delivered duty paid) so no additional duties or tariffs for the receiver. Parcels are distributed in the States by USPS.
