An antique fireplace set consisting of a pair of iron and brass andirons with brass urn-shaped finials, brass trim at the base, cabriole legs and penny feet and matching wire mesh fireplace fender or screen with a curved D-shape brass top rail and iron wire mesh paneling decorated with scrolling spiral wirework. Marked “I.C.”, possibly Isaac Causten (1753-1833), who was a foundry metal caster in Baltimore, MD.
