Bradley & Hubbard Two-Light Table Lamp
Patinated metal with molded opal or frosted glass dome shade
American • First Third of the 20th Century
An unusually decorative antique two-light table lamp featuring a patinated metal base bearing the B&H maker's mark of the Bradley & Hubbard Manufacturing Company of Meriden, Connecticut. The lamp is surmounted by a substantial molded opal or frosted glass dome shade rendered in soft ivory with warm peach-toned relief decoration.
The shade is modeled with elongated fluted panels, a raised rope-twist border and elaborate floral ornament centered around a molded rosette at the crown. When illuminated, the opaque glass diffuses the light into a warm, even glow while emphasizing the sculptural relief of the molded decoration.
The broad architectural base displays repeating oval and pointed-leaf ornament above a pierced trefoil border. A slender cylindrical standard rises to a circular gallery supporting two independently operated pull-chain sockets. The naturally aged bronze-toned surfaces retain an attractive antique patina acquired through decades of careful use.
Maker & Attribution
The underside of the base bears the circular B&H trademark associated with the Bradley & Hubbard Manufacturing Company.
While the base is definitively marked by Bradley & Hubbard, the molded glass shade is unsigned. Its original factory association with the base has not been independently documented and is therefore described as the shade presently fitted to the lamp rather than represented as conclusively original.

Electrical Information
The lamp has been professionally rewired for continued use and was functioning properly at the time of listing. It retains a later replacement cord, plug and modern electrical connections.
Each socket operates independently, allowing one or both bulbs to be illuminated.
Condition
Presented in antique, pre-owned condition with naturally aged patina, oxidation, surface wear, scratches, finish loss, discoloration and evidence of age throughout.
The molded glass shade exhibits scattered dark gray to black linear marks around portions of the lower molded fluting. Their exact origin is unknown and no attempt has been made to remove them.
The shade rests with a visible natural tilt when seated on the antique metal support assembly. Based upon examination, the tilt appears to originate from the interior gallery or earlier soldered connections rather than the glass itself. The lamp may be displayed as found or adjusted by a qualified antique-lighting specialist if a more level presentation is desired.
Because of this slight tilt, one brass pull terminal appears to hang marginally higher than the other although both pull chains are the same length.
Older soldering, maintenance and metal-wire reinforcement are visible beneath the shade. A small exposed section may feel sharp and is documented in the photographs.
The interior socket assembly shows evidence of age, prior maintenance and stabilization.
No representation is made that every component is original to the lamp. Given its age and electrical nature, buyers may wish to have the lamp inspected by a qualified electrician or antique-lighting specialist prior to extended use.
Please review all photographs carefully. They form an important part of the description and document the maker's mark, shade, patina, rewiring, sockets, pull chains, interior support assembly, condition and overall presentation. The exact lamp shown is the lamp the buyer will receive.
