This antique French wall mirror was crafted circa 1870 in the Louis XVI style and features a refined combination of giltwood and painted surfaces. The molded frame is finished with a rich gold leaf along the inner edge, accented by a beaded trim, while the outer edge is painted in a soft, muted green that contrasts elegantly with the gilding.
The back retains its early hand-planed wood panels and an affixed wire for hanging, attesting to its 19th-century construction. Measuring 14.25 inches wide by 50.5 inches high, this tall and slender mirror is ideal for use as a dressing mirror, powder room accent, or narrow hallway feature.
