Manufactured by the renowned Rembrandt Lamp Company, this piece presents a highly unique and rare colorway featuring its original slender iron core pole finished in a smooth, vintage pastel blue enamel. This colorful styling is elegantly framed on both ends by heavily detailed, neoclassical-influenced cast-brass fittings.
The heavy, weighted circular base boasts beautiful raised relief work depicting a traditional harvest motif of pomegranates, apples, and acanthus leaves, accented with a matching blue enamel perimeter band. The top of the column features a classic, functional swing-arm bridge attachment that arches out smoothly to position light right where you need it.
Equipped with an integrated vintage inline cord switch on the power cord for convenient, accessible hand-flipping operation without needing to reach all the way up under the shade frame. The structural components are exceptionally solid, straight, and stable. The original pastel blue enamel finish on both the center pole and the base ring remains vibrant and clean, displaying beautiful coloration with only one minor hairline paint line separation and a small superficial chip along the far lower-left edge rim, consistent with a century of light domestic display. The heavy cast brass break, decorative scroll collar, and swing-arm junction remain structurally sound and tightly threaded with an authentic, untouched natural dark patina in the recessed areas. The horizontal bridge arm swivels smoothly on its internal pin mechanism without sagging or catching. The fabric shade is clean, taut along its panel ribs, and entirely free of tears, deep stains, or punctures. The power cord, inline cord-switch, and socket switch have been tested and operate fluidly.
