Small-scale german art deco pendant light in marbled ivory color glass with warm ambient illumination and bakelite details. German art deco pendant light executed in marbled ivory-tone glass with expressive brown veining, dating to the 1930s. The rounded, softly sculptural shade creates an elegant silhouette while the marbled glass evokes the appearance of carved alabaster. When illuminated, the glass develops a warm, diffused glow that softly emphasizes the organic veining throughout the surface. The fixture retains its characteristic bakelite canopy and bakelite mounting elements, adding authentic period character and reinforcing its early 20th-century origin. Its compact proportions make it particularly suitable for smaller spaces while still functioning as a decorative focal point. A refined and versatile art deco lighting piece suitable for hallways, powder rooms, bedside placement, smaller dining areas, reading corners, or layered interior compositions.
