A charming set of three vintage glazed ceramic wall plates dating from the 1950s. Two black plates were produced in the renowned pottery region of Pozdišovce, Slovakia, while the central plate originates from Romania. Together they create a striking display of traditional Central European folk art.
Each plate features hand-decorated folk motifs in vibrant colours that contrast beautifully against the dark glazed backgrounds. The original hanging strings are still attached, and one plate retains its original maker's mark on the reverse.
Rich in character yet surprisingly contemporary in appearance, this decorative trio is perfect for a gallery wall or as a colourful accent in both vintage and modern interiors. Sold as a complete set of three. Excellent condition without any damages.
