This pitcher boasts a magnificent, intense, and vibrant red, a particularly rare and sought-after color in the work of Robert Picault (more often known for his green or geometric designs). Its glossy glaze beautifully captures the light and highlights the depth of the glaze.
Robert Picault is a leading name in 20th-century French ceramics, notably for his iconic work in Vallauris alongside Picasso.
Please note: there is a chip on the rim of the neck, clearly visible in the photos (see close-ups). The chip is localized. The rest of the pitcher is in good overall condition, with a luminous glaze. Despite this chip, it is a very fine collector's item that retains all its decorative appeal and rarity. This piece has an attribution mark,
