All made in a studio just … Read more Crafted from injection moulded Acrylic and then delicately decorated with hand-laid 24ct gold leaf. All made in a studio just outside of New York in 1970 by a small artisanal company for major mirror company the Syracuse Ornamental Company.

The iconic ultra brutalist styling makes this piece a wonderful example of the movement at the time.
This piece is signed is signed on the back with the location of its construction & its designer.

The mirror on this piece is leather backed which makes the mirror safest from any kind of decay, but using leather was a very expensive way of mirror backing and used exclusively on the finest of pieces, such as this.
