The composition presents a richly appointed Ottoman interior, centered around an impressive conical fireplace (ocak), intricately decorated and framed by magnificent blue-and-white wall tiles inspired by traditional İznik ceramics. The surrounding wooden paneling incorporates elegant built-in cupboards and niches (dolap), displaying an extensive collection of oriental metalwork, ewers, ceramics, and glass vessels. Along both sides of the room are raised wooden seating platforms (sedir), covered with rugs and cushions in the traditional Ottoman manner.
