Crafted from Plasticglass, the lamp … Read more An iconic Cometa floor lamp designed by Ettore Sottsass, reflecting the designer’s unmistakable postmodern aesthetic. Crafted from Plasticglass, the lamp features a sculptural ribbed diffuser that softly illuminates the surrounding space. Inside are two light sources: a white galogen bulb providing warm ambient light and a separate colored bulb that creates the signature colored glow at the top, adding depth and a dramatic visual effect.

with its clean geometric form and innovative use of materials, the Cometa is both a functional light source and a highly collectible design piece that perfectly represents Italian design of the 1970s.

Good Vintage condition. Wear consistent with age and use. There is a small mark on the top of the plastic from high temperature (last photo in the gallery). Additional photos and videos are available upon request.
