Offered for sale is a pair of 1970s modernist lucite or molded-resin lamps created in a flowing freeform design. They are signed near the base by Paolo Gucci, the grandson of the fashion house founder Guccio Gucci. The lamps were designed as part of an exclusive line of decorative home accessories and lighting during this era. Paolo's lighting pieces frequently featured these sculptural, organically twisted bases crafted from translucent, warm amber-toned acrylic or resin, designed to give off a sophisticated, gem-like glow.
