Ceramic Poodle Shawnee Dog Planter Hand Painted Porcelain Puppy USA VTG MCM 1950s
Excellent vintage condition. No damage, cracks, chips (either in paint or item). Clean. It has "USA" on it's side, and is most likely Shawnee Pottery. Shawnee pottery is known for producing highly popular kitschy, anthropomorphic animal planters and kitchenware with distinct black, white, and cold-painted pink cheek details. Shawnee pottery company closed in 1961.
It is an adorable vintage MCM ceramic poodle puppy dog planter and is beautifully hand-painted. This charming mid-century piece features a classic poodle design with detailed features and soft coloring, making it a perfect decorative accent for vintage or retro-inspired spaces.
