Monumentally … Read more 1970s Bernard Rooke monumental brutalist stoneware floor lamp base. The clay body of this totem is 100% structurally flawless. Monumentally standing at 50 inches high. Stylistically, it features Rooke’s iconic central wheel motif with concentrically pierced light-vent holes, finished in his signature dark oxide-washed stoneware glaze.
Condition & Hardware Details:
The Pottery: Excellent condition, completely stable and secure on its internal central rod. The rare original matching clay finial is also included.
The Center Circuit: The internal center socket is fully intact and functioning perfectly. The central disc lantern glows cleanly from within as originally intended.
The Top Fixture: The top brass socket and shade carrier assembly are currently missing from the apex of the central threaded rod. See less
