Piero Dorazio (1927-2005) was an Italian painter. In parallel with his artistic practice, he conducted an intense theoretical and organisational activity in favour of non-figurative art. His research focused on the painterly properties of form, colour, space, and materlals, highlighting the value of the “line-light-colour”. from 1960 to 1970, Dorazio taught at the University of Pennsylvania. He won prizes at the Venice and Paris Biennials and the Kandinsky Prize. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
