Ernst Lüthy for Atelier-L of Switzerland. Model 1107 Vintage Leather Armchair/Swivel Chair in Brown Leather.
This extremely rare swivel chair/armchair impresses with its softly sloping armrests and organically shaped seat shell.
Very high-quality, thick brown leather with a beautiful patina.
The chrome-plated five-star base with new, high-quality casters underscores the elegant Swiss design approach of the 1970s.
The original embossing in the leather reads:
"Atelier-L by Atelier-L of Switzerland - Model 1107."
This model is very rarely offered for sale.
The leather is in well-maintained condition with a beautiful, age-related patina and only minor signs of wear. The original manufacturer's mark is clearly visible.
The chair swivels fully.
The height adjustment is currently not working.
There is an older, sturdy weld repair on the chrome-plated base near the hub.
This does not affect the stability or usability of the chair. This piece has an attribution mark,
