A small French provincial sideboard in cherry wood. Originally from the first half of the 19th century, this piece has been structurally altered and shortened in depth over the last 150–200 years.
Whilst this piece of furniture has lost some of its originality as a result, it has gained in uniqueness. A charming, one-of-a-kind piece with extremely rare proportions and a very beautiful patina.
An exceptionally shallow cherry wood body with a curved plinth and a slightly projecting moulded top panel, featuring two doors made in frame and panel construction hinged to external hinges. Inside, the piece is fitted with a shelf.

Shelf depth: 23.5 cm / 9.25 in.
Ready for use, with age-related signs of wear, including old woodworm tunnels (not active!) and visible structural alterations and repairs. Among other things: rear panel fitted with plywood. Door lock not original. Left-hand key escutcheon missing. See photos.
