The chair is made entirely of wood and was designed by Danish designer Arne Jacobsen for the Fritz Hansen company in the 1950s. The model is known as the "Grand Prix." Arne Jacobsen's chairs are distinguished by a bold, geometric shape, decidedly eccentric and distinctive; their distinctive feature is the geometric backrest, which offers great comfort and practicality.
