Vintage American Decoy Ducks as Bookends. These wooden, handcrafted painted and glazed sculptures of matching duck busts make a charming set of bookends. Though not with obvious authorship, the styling is old-fashioned early American imagery. Often wooden ducks such as these (in full body) were made of a light balsa wood and used as decoys when duck shooting on ponds and lakes.
Size of each piece is 6 inches long by 7 inches wide by 7 inches tall.
