Ancient Egyptian Canopic Vase, Late Period (711-332 BC),
terracotta body surmounted by a stone stopper depicting Amset as a man, one of the four sons of Horus.
This type of vase was used to hold the viscera of embalmed deceased individuals.
Dimensions: 30 x 16 x 16 cm.
From a French private collection.
Very good condition, minor chips to the stone, no restoration has been carried out, the vase is intact.
