The same upholstery was used on all chairs. All of the frames are carved. The round back chairs have the same carve pattern on the frame; the frame on the square back chair has a slightly different pattern. The wood type and manufacturer are unknown. Assumed to have been made in the United States. Assumed that the chairs are at least 50 years old but the exact date of production is unknown. The chairs have sturdy solid wood frames and the seats and backs have been reupholstered. There are some small nicks near the edges where the upholstery meets the frame, a consequence of the reupholstery process. The upholstery is very clean. The measurements below are for the 2 round back chairs. The square back chair dimensions are: chair height is 37", exterior seat width is 23", interior seat width is 21", seat depth is 18", seat height is 19", and arm height is 27.5". The seat height and the arm height of the square back chair is about 2" higher than the round back chairs. See less
