An extremely rare and gorgeous leaded glass and bronze table lamp by Duffner and Kimberly. The shade starts at the top with squarish shaped glass in an almost translucent green color. Towards the bottom of the shade, there is a lovely band of acorns and acorn leaves in glowing amber and dark amber colors. If you look at the base you can see a wreath of acorn and acorn leaves once again. The way the light is captured within the glass, how the orange elements glow against the green elements is a sight to behold. The whole design is well composed and speaks to the artistry, quality, and sophistication that you don’t see in leaded glass lamps today.
I think my photos do a really good job of showing the quality of the lamp but it honestly looks even better in person.
