This monumental 17” centerpiece dish (16 7/8 diameter) features a breathtaking, geometric radial layout in the iconic "Peacock" colorway. The design radiates outward with bands of periwinkle, lavender, and turquoise. Marked on the face with the lowercase “higgins”monogram in applied gold, the design is elevated by rows of enclosed bubbles. The center and outer edge are bound by painted spirals of gold overlay. “As pioneers of the American mid-century studio crafts movement, the Higginses utilized a multi-layered glass-fusing technique that creates exceptional optical depth under lighting”, making this a true collector's piece.
