This piece is detailed top to bottom with authentic burl wood inlay on the hutches backboard, drawers, and cabinet doors. The top half of the hutch can easily be lifted off the cabinet for moving needs, and the base of the cabinet is mounted onto wheels for easy local movement when needed. The cabinet has two drawers with their original brass base and wood dangle handles. The two bottom cabinet doors both have locks. The original key is included after all of these years and still works! The right door locks and opens perfect, the left lock does turn but the lock mechanism looks to have some internal failure and does not work without being manually adjusted. The key does still fit in and can be used as a handle for both doors! The hutch is in great condition for its age, but does have very small signs of normal use, nothing note worthy. Beautiful hand carved piece ready to be displayed in your home!
