Chinese Chippendale Style Giltwood Pagoda Wall Mirror. The carved oval frame is crowned by an elegant pagoda crest with suspended temple bells, while a pair of detailed exotic birds perch among the scrolling foliage on either side, lending movement and symmetry to the composition. The intricate carving and luminous gilt finish create a dramatic architectural presence that is both whimsical and sophisticated.
In modern homes, this impressive mirror can be hung above a fireplace, displayed in a foyer or entry hall, or used above a dresser, console, or sideboard. It complements Palm Beach, Hollywood Regency, Transitional, Grandmillennial, or Eclectic interiors. The warm gilt finish reflects natural and ambient light beautifully, while the elaborate carving gives the piece remarkable depth and visual interest form every angle.
