This charming piece features a masterfully executed acid-etched cameo glass (double overlay) landscape.

The continuous scene depicts a forest of stylized, towering trees and foliage rendered in rich, deep, burnt-orange and chocolate-brown hues, standing against a mottled, glowing golden-amber background. The technique, appearing as multiple layered glasses, is beautifully detailed and wraps around both the globular shade and the lower body. The lamp rests upon an elegant and period-appropriate cast gilt-bronze (or patinated metal) base with stylized feet, adding a layer of sophisticated antique charm. A matching glass finial sits on top, completing the piece. A central internal metal stem is visible through the glass structure.

Important Note on Attribution:
While this piece is not signed, its technique, style, and color palette strongly echo the work of a major early 20th-century French glass house. We attribute it to the Le Verre Français / Art Nouveau period style.

Condition:
Very Good Antique Condition. The glass is free of any chips, cracks, or deep scratches, and the original, natural patina remains on the gilt-bronze base, which exhibits expected age-appropriate wear. The lamp has not been re-wired to maintain its authenticity, and as such, it is sold as-is with the original period wiring, for display or re-wiring before use.
