A faux bamboo gentleman's chest by Stanley Furniture, circa 1970s, with the Stanley stamp inside the drawer. Six graduated drawers with recessed brass campaign-style pulls sit beside a full-height cabinet door fronted in woven cane, which opens to interior shelving. Turned faux bamboo corner posts are topped with brass finials, and the legs splay outward in classic Regency form.
Original finish and original brass hardware throughout. Solid, heavy construction, and the drawers run smoothly. Works as a dresser, entry storage, or linen chest. Lovely as-is, or a strong candidate for a lacquered finish.
Condition: very good vintage condition with no notable scratches, dings, or marks. Cane panel intact.
