The legs are also made of precious wood, which is relatively unusual for the model.

The bookcase is a fine example of Mogensen's ability to combine function, aesthetics and solid furniture craftsmanship. His clean lines and timeless design language have made him one of the most important designers in Danish Modern.

This is the larger model, with generous surfaces for books, art, ceramics, and other decorative objects. The seven movable and removable shelves can be placed at several different heights, making it easy to adapt the bookcase to both content and expression.

The legs are placed at the far corners and reinforced with characteristic, slanted braces between the frame and legs, a well-known detail in Børge Mogensen's design. The construction gives the bookcase an airy and almost floating expression, while being stable.

Wireless LED strips are available in stores that can be installed in the bookcase. The lighting highlights both the furniture and its contents and adds another dimension to the home.

Thanks to its shallow format, the bookcase is easy to place and offers generous storage without taking over the room. It fits just as well in the living room as in the library, study or home office.
