This Exquisite Architectural Engraving was Drafted on-site by Italian Architect and Engineer Giovanni Battista Borra (1713–1770) and Masterfully Executed by the Renowned Engraver Paul Fourdrinier (1698–1758).
Published circa 1753, this London Edition Historic Series Meticulously Documented the Monumental Classical Roman Architecture of Palmyra. These Specific Engravings Served as Foundational Design Books that Sparked the Neoclassical Movement in Great Britain, Deeply Influencing Masters like Robert Adam.
