This lightweight slatted folding chair is reminiscent of those sold by Maine canoe builders such as Kennebec and other early outdoor outfitters. While it has the classic design associated with Maine canoe camping, I cannot attribute it to a specific maker because it is unmarked.

This classic folding chair reflects the rustic camp furniture associated with the golden age of canoeing, sporting camps, and Adirondack and Maine outdoor recreation.

The chair folds flat for transport and storage and retains an attractive aged patina developed over many decades.
