Capturing the timeless charm of historic South Carolina, this 1981 limited-edition offset lithograph titled "April in Charleston" by renowned local artist Virginia Fouché Bolton (American, 1929–2004) features a vibrant street scene looking down Church Street toward St. Philip's Episcopal Church.
Hand-signed in pencil by the artist at the lower right and numbered 985/2000. The print showcases Bolton’s signature watercolor technique, capturing palmetto palms, historic architecture, and local street figures in rich Lowcountry color.
The piece is housed in its original double-matted presentation with a gilded wood frame and retains its original Virginia Fouché Bolton Gallery gold foil label on the backing (127 Meeting Street, Charleston, SC).
