Hermès Paris Chaîne d'Ancre porcelain nut or sweetmeat dishes, set of four, presented in their original individual Hermès boxes and housed within the original fitted orange Hermès presentation case. The celebrated Chaîne d'Ancre ("Anchor Chain") pattern was designed in 1938 by Robert Dumas, a member of the Hermès family, after observing the massive anchor chains of the Normandy coast. Its distinctive interlocking links have since become one of the house's enduring signatures, appearing across fine jewelry, silk scarves, leather goods, and luxury tabletop collections. Each dish features a brilliant white porcelain ground bordered by deep blue and navy anchor-chain links surrounding the iconic central Chaîne d'Ancre emblem, all executed with exceptional clarity and precision.
