This pair of polished chrome Cubist table lamps, after the celebrated designs of Willy Rizzo, embodies the bold architectural aesthetic of Italian modernism during the later 20th century. Composed entirely of interlocking geometric forms, each lamp juxtaposes a tall square column with a suspended square reflector, creating a sculptural silhouette that is equally compelling illuminated or unlit.

Executed in mirror-polished chrome over steel, the lamps rely on crisp right angles and precise proportions rather than ornamentation. The reflective surfaces transform with their surroundings, capturing light and interior colors while emphasizing the minimalist geometry. This restrained vocabulary is characteristic of the glamorous yet disciplined modernism associated with Rizzo's furniture and lighting designs of the period.

Each lamp is fitted with five standard medium-base sockets—four concealed horizontally within the central column that project light into the surrounding square reflector, and one additional socket at the top providing upward illumination. The result is a soft, indirect glow that highlights the polished chrome surfaces while creating an atmospheric architectural effect. They have been professionally rewired and are ready for use.

Their substantial scale makes them ideal for use on large consoles, credenzas, or oversized bedside tables, where the sculptural forms can be appreciated from every angle. While unmarked, the design closely follows the geometric chrome lighting produced in Italy during the 1970s and is confidently offered after Willy Rizzo.
