A striking pair of monumental Murano glass egg-form lamps, handblown in Italy during the 1980s and executed in luminous white lattimo glass with dramatic spiral ribbed decoration. The elegant ovoid forms are distinguished by a continuous spiraling pattern known in Murano glassmaking as coste ritorte (twisted ribs).
