Degué wall sconces
A pair of 1925-1935 French art deco wall sconces in nickel plated solid brass or bronze. It holds beautiful slip shades in clear frosted molded-pressed glass by Degué. The company of David Guéron, founded in 1926. Guéron employed the ceramist and designer Edouard Cazaux as his artistic director and head designer. In 1936 production stopped and the company finally closed down in 1939. This model is represented in the old Degué catalog under #521. Both shades are signed Degué.
The sconces are 11,81 inches high 5,9 inches wide and 6,69 deep. They are in very good condition. I have re-nickeled and patinated the fixtures. They are rewired with American candelabra base sockets.
I have two pairs available. The price is for one pair.
