Elegant pair of Italian wall sconces from the 1950s, attributed to Barovier & Toso and designed with a refined Art Deco inspired character. Each applique features a golden metal and brass wall structure with a square backplate, a short horizontal arm and a rounded support holding a sculptural Murano glass shade.
The Murano glass diffuser has a rounded ribbed form, enriched by delicate internal bubble inclusions that create depth, texture and beautiful reflections when illuminated. The clear glass body allows the warm brass and golden metal details to remain visible, giving the sconces a refined and luminous decorative presence.
The design combines the sophistication of Art Deco forms with the craftsmanship of mid-century Murano glass lighting. Compact yet highly decorative, these wall lights are ideal for a hallway, bedroom, entryway, powder room or living area. Their elegant proportions and material quality make them suitable for both vintage and contemporary interiors.
