A large and rare nickel-plated bronze or solid brass French art deco pendant light made circa 1930. It holds a large sized bowl by Degué done in clear partly frosted molded-pressed glass. This Degue model #560 in the old Degué product catalog has a diameter of 53 cm (20,87") and a weight of 6,45 kilos (14,2 lb.). This is the extra-large version of a normal-sized bowl (model #594) which is less rare and has a diameter of 40 cm. I did a picture with a common sized 35 cm Degué bowl the 40 cm version and the 53 cm one to give you a better idea of the size of this pendant light. In my other listings you can find two pendants with the same mounting and the smaller 40 cm bowls.
The lamp is in very good condition. I have re-nickeled and patinated fixture. The chandelier has a height of 61,5 cm (24,21 inches). It's rewired and holds an American standard base socket.
