A lovely panoramic river view oil painting in its period frame by California artist, Ruby Dobesh (1905-2003). Ruby was known for her impasto-painted California plein air scenes with vibrant colors and beautiful depth.
The oil painting is in very good vintage condition with normal wear from age with no restoration. The original light olive painted wood frame is stable, with it’s original finish but has loss of paint on the lower section of the frame as shown that does not detract from the overall look.
Origin: San Diego County, California.
